Welcome to the website of the P.A.L.M. Foundation

The PALM Foundation, the Pat Bishop Foundation for Art Literature and Music was established in the memory of Pat Bishop. It was first conceptualized following her death in 2011, and legally incorporated a few years later. It held its Inaugural Meeting at The Jubilee Hall of Bishop Anstey High School on Saturday 4thOctober 2014.

Besides featuring the initial of her name, ‘Pat’ and those of the art, literature and music that she loved; the acronym PALM pays tribute to the palm, a tree which Pat frequently employed as a motif, in recognition of its indigenous provenance, wide usefulness and great ornamental value.
